Java's garbage collection might be a tad slower on the draw, but its platform independence and built-in features can be a real sharpshooter when it comes to development speed. C, on the other hand, is pure muscle memory, squeezing every ounce of performance out of the system. Truth is, the "best" language probably depends on your specific needs. If raw speed is your holy grail, C might be your huckleberry. But if development time and platform flexibility are key, Java could well be your winning hand, especially if you can use hire .net developer.
