Straight out of the box, Substrate comes with support to connect to Polkadot and Kusama, which makes it the ideal framework for creating substrate Parachains. The Substrate Parachain model was created by Polkadot to enable the overall advancement of decentralized systems and Web 3.0 at large. Blockchain projects are built using the Substrate framework. A Polkadot project can have several parachains, which represent different functionalities. These parachains are built using the Substrate tool.
